Chain Reaction is the volunteer center in Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties for teens ages 13 to 18. Through Chain Reaction, teens can participate in safe, meaningful and educational volunteer and leadership opportunities.

The secret to Chain Reaction’s success is that it’s teen-directed, teen-driven, and teen organized. Teens are not told what to do, but are asked what should be done.

When a teenager volunteers with Chain Reaction, the door to the future opens into a new world of possibilities. This program introduces the privileged teen to poverty, reveals possibilities to the teen who sees none, helps the selfish become selfless and the doubtful to become leaders. Although teens think big, many do not realize how increasingly difficult it will be to get into their dream college or career. Volunteering sets teens apart, and prepares them for a future of success and accomplishment.
