SERVICE PROJECTS
Making an impact beyond yourself
Leadership in Learning Service Project
Chain Reaction members create literacy packets for third-grade students featuring a hand-painted bookmark, a “quiet critter,” a wand, a Magic Tree House book, and a special owl with Smarties candy to remind students just how smart they are. These packets encourage reading, creativity, and a love of learning.
The G.O.A.T
Service Project
Chain Reaction members craft and sell birdhouses made from recycled wine corks. Proceeds fund scholarships for sports equipment and classes, aiming for a $500 annual goal.
Oceanology
Service Project
Chain Reaction members repurpose recycled plastic bags into ocean-themed bookmarks that encourage reading and environmental awareness. This hands-on project promotes creativity, reduces waste, and inspires others to reduce, reuse, recycle—and read!
