Learning Vision & Conviction Through Service

Mission in Motion: A Chain Reaction That Lasts a Lifetime

A teenager with a dream can imagine a better future.

A teenager with vision and conviction can change one.

At Chain Reaction, we help young people discover their purpose and develop the confidence to lead with courage.

Every service project, leadership challenge, and mentoring conversation is designed to build two life-changing qualities: Vision and Conviction.

Vision helps teens see what's possible. Conviction gives them the courage to make it happen.

As they grow, they develop the character and leadership skills to persevere, take responsibility, and lead with integrity—creating stronger families, schools, workplaces, and communities.

Your support makes that transformation possible.

When one teenager discovers their purpose, the impact reaches far beyond one life. It creates a ripple effect that strengthens an entire community.

That's the chain reaction you're helping create.

One teen. One purpose. One Chain Reaction at a time.

Teen Spotlight: He Saw a Problem. He Became the Solution.

This month, we are proud to spotlight one of our amazing interns for the initiative and dedication he has shown through his GOAT Project. His project involves building birdhouses out of recycled wine corks, which are then sold to help fund sports scholarships through Big Brothers Big Sisters.

When he learned that there was a shortage of wine corks needed to continue building the birdhouses, he didn't wait for someone else to solve the problem.

After leaving CR on Wednesday, he immediately acted. He began researching where corks could be purchased and even approached his mom to ask if she would be willing to donate corks to support the project.

His willingness to identify a need, problem-solve, and advocate for his project demonstrates responsibility, initiative, and a true commitment to making a positive impact. We are incredibly proud of the leadership he displayed and the effort he put into helping ensure the success of his project.

The Impact of Your Support: June Statistics

  • During our summer semester, Chain Reaction teens logged an impressive 955 hours of community service.

"Being an intern gave me the opportunity to reflect on my mistakes and use them as opportunities for growth. Through that experience, I built confidence in my ability to be resilient. Instead of dwelling on what I did wrong, I now focus on what I can learn and how I can do better the next time."

- Arianna, CR Intern
